How it go my peoples?! So I took a lil nap this evening (my belly was so FULL; knock me all the way out). But anyhow! In my sleep I saw the scripture Jeremiah 29:11. I logged it and made intention to find it when I woke up. That realization took maybe a few seconds and I was back out again. Listen my nap was glorious! As a matter of fact; it was so magical that as I was drifting back to this earthly realm, I heard this song playing in my mind.
It's been a long time since I heard it so I felt a sense of "ease" when I fully woke up. Then the scripture popped back in my "remembrance". So I searched for it and it states:
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
And I was like okay God! Talk to me then! In my meditation that night he revealed to me exactly what that means in relation to my life. My spirit was moved I began to write what I was hearing. Our dialogue was opened with this statement, "Take into consideration all that you've been through and all that you've endured. It's evident that I'm with you right?" And I was like RIGHT!! And by the end of my writing I felt vindicated. I looked back over the past year and a half and realized that he bin fighting for me this whole time. When it seemed like my situation was getting worse it was actually getting better.
He set things in motion far beyond what I can see or what I'm able to imagine. We have to be confident and have faith that he knows what he's doing in our lives. Not only that, we need to be obedient when we hear him speak to us. That's a for sure way for him to unleash his blessings upon us. We try to fight these battles alone but truthfully speaking it wasn't designed for us to do so. We're supposed to trust God; he walks beside us, he goes before us, and he comes behind us. He covers us.
The only way we'll be able to see that is if we stop dwelling on what's going wrong and focus on what's right in our lives. Then and only then we'll see the hand of God maneuvering over our lives. We'd be able to stand still knowing that there's no need to fight. The battle is never yours, Let God fight for you!!
